Taster Events in Archaeological, Geographical and Environmental Sciences – Bradford

The Division of Archaeological, Geographical and Environmental Sciences has developed an exciting programme of Compact events offering students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience of their recent research while ‘sampling’ the many and varied aspects of their degree programmes! The programme of events is suitable for all interested sixth-form students, whether or not they are studying Archaeology or Geography at advanced level.

Hands-on archaeological materials
Wednesday 11 February 2009, 2.00pm-4.30pm

The science of the past
Wednesday 11 March 2009, 2.00pm-4.30pm

Bradford CSI
Wednesday 3 June 2009, 10.30am-3.30pm
We explore how methods from archaeological and environmental
sciences help us to find and analyse crime scenes, both past and
present. This workshop involves detective work outside and inside
the laboratory.
