Research Associate in Ancient History and Archaeology – Cardiff

You will work on an AHRC funded project on ‘The first farmers of central Europe: diversity in LBK lifeways’, based in the universities of Cardiff, Oxford and Durham, addresses the first farmers of central Europe in the sixth millennium cal BC, known archaeology as the LBK (Linearbandkeramik) culture.  You should have a PhD, or be very close to completion, or equivalent post-doctoral degree, in some aspect of Neolithic archaeology, with preference for Britain, Ireland, western and central Europe.
