The John Pagett Bursary
Applications are invited for a new annual award available from the Ironbridge Institute (part of the Institute of Archaeology and Antiquity, University of Birmingham) to fund research in any period in the archaeology and / or history of Shropshire, extending, where relevant, to Severn Valley system, the Welsh Marches, North Wales and the West Midlands.
The award shall have an annual value of up to approximately £3000 and can be used to part-fund a research degree based at Ironbridge Institute. Applicants should note that the annual closing date for applications to study at Ironbridge Institute is 31st July.

The successful applicant will be required to publish the results of the research and deliver a public lecture to the Telford and Wrekin Archaeological and Historical Society who administer the fund.
