Fieldworkers urgently needed for necropolis dig in Spain

June 5, 2008

We’re putting together a team of students to help excavate a late Roman/Visigothic cemetery at the Roman city of Clunia in central Spain that surfaced a few days ago and took us completely by surprise. We’ll be there in June for around three weeks. If any adventurous souls can drop everything and head to Spain, we’d be grateful. Room and board will be covered. Spanish will be the primary language used on site. This is not part of our normal Clunia program.

Thanks,
Mike Elkin, ArchaeoSpain director
