WORLD ROCK-ART, LANDSCAPES AND CREATIVITY: RECORDING, INTERPRETING AND PROTECTING OUR GLOBAL INHERITANCE

17th – 21st November and 23rd –27th November 2008

Trent & Peak Archaeology and the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus are pleased to launch the course ‘World Rock-Art, Landscapes and Creativity: Recording, Interpreting and Protecting Our Global Inheritance’.

Taught by a team of International Experts with decades of experience between them, this unique course offers an intensive introduction to key skills and methods in rock-art recording, analysis and interpretation.

This 5 day long course, including field-visits, lunches and refreshments and 6 nights accommodation.

We offer two session dates in November 2008:

17th – 21st November and 23rd – 27th November 2008

FEES

The course includes 5 days tuition and all field trips and a choice of accommodation

STANDARD ACCOMMODATION AND ROCK-ART COURSE UK£750

Basic accommodation is at the Travellers Palm, on Jalan Rembla in KL’s Golden Triangle, close to China Town in a vibrant, exciting and characterful part of KL. Nearby, there are great eateries and bars. Towels and linen etc. are supplied and the rooms are air conditioned. Includes breakfast. The Travellers Palm is just around the corner from the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus offices in KL.

DELUXE ACCOMMODATION AND ROCK-ART COURSE UK£945

Staying at the luxury 5 star Prince Hotel, just opposite the University Offices at a special discounted rate. Air conditioned rooms, room service and with great views, including of the Petronas Towers (if you are on the right side of the building). Price also includes a buffet breakfast. There is a terrace pool, with fantastic views and several bars and restaurants to choose from; all in-house. The Prince Hotel is in KL’s Golden Triangle, close to China Town. Nearby, there are great eateries and bars.

DEPOSITS

To secure your place deposits of UKP£100 can be made over the phone (during UK office hours) or by cheque. Download the registration form and card payment form to make a deposit. Full amount will be due by Friday 3rd October 2008. All bookings after this date will require full payment and will be subject to availability.

    The standard rate is currently discounted to UK£675 until the 1st August.
