Ideal entry-level course for a career in ArchaeologyIndiana Jones

For people thinking about starting an Archaeology degree (full or part-time) or for those simply interested in learning more about the subject.

As well as classroom-based theory, the course will include two days of excavating and half-a-day’s surveying.

This one-week course is a mixture of classroom tuition and practical fieldwork that will run in August 2008. The 07 archaeology school was so popular that it will run for an extra week in 08.

This course is open to everyone: no prior knowledge or experience in archaeology required. Just bring your enthusiasm!

Week A Mon 11 Aug to Fri 15 Aug 2008

Week B Mon 18 Aug to Fri 22 Aug 2008

Fee: £150

10 – 5.00 each day (times during fieldwork days may vary)
